  • Friction Stir Welding (FSW) and Processing (FSP) of various Non-ferrous metal and Nano materials for automotive, aerospace and shipbuilding applications.
  • Extrusion and testing of Metal Matrix Composite (MMC) for defence vehicle applications.

  • Feb 2021 Onwards: Associate Professor Department of Mechanical Engineering, SRM University, Delhi NCR, Sonepat, Haryana.
  • Jan -2016: Research Associate in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Anna University, CEG, Guindy, Chennai. Successfully completed CVRDE-CARS (Government) project for defence, aerospace and automobile application.
  • Nov- 2007: Additional Director in SIAM commercial Group in Bangkok, Thailand and China. Monitoring and Directing the company's overall operations and procedures, as well as undertaking R&D for automotive manufacturing unit.
  • Feb 2001: Production Manager in Dhanish Group of Company Bangkok, Thailand. Plan, implement and control the production schedule. Improved profit margins by 8% while reducing quality defect losses by 15%.
  • May 1998: Lecturer in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. M.G.R University, Chennai.

Achievements / Awards / Recognitions

  • Successfully completed a consultancy funded project on MMC (Nano Materials) for CVRDE used in various defence vehicles.
  • MSME capacity building (SME) trained by BOSCH and facilitates workshops on Industry-Academia collaboration regarding plant layout, safety, and Japanese management style.
  • Technology implementation: Introduced leading-edge technologies into the production process and implemented software application for workflow management and cost control.
  • Cost Reduction & Productivity Improvement: reduced cost 20% and further reduced labor cost 10% and 30% increased productivity upon implementation of technologies
