Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry established in the year 2013 with an intention to support and cultivate the sound knowledge of chemical sciences. Since inception, Department is growing with a steady pace with a commitment to provide intelligent, innovative & motivational surroundings to students, and faculty members. Our Department has produced alumni who are excelling in the science as well as other fields all around the world. The Department laboratories have state-of-the-art research facilities to carry out the standard experiments of physical, inorganic, organic and interdisciplinary chemistry based research. We have collaborations with various national and international laboratories and institutions. The Department is offering B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc., and Ph.D. Programmes along with the interdisciplinary courses. We have a choice-based credit system (CBCS) with a flexible and career-oriented curriculum and syllabus. Department has motivated and dynamic faculty members who are always ready to extend their full support in order to inculcate scientific temperament to the students.
