About the Department

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in 2013. The department offers B.Tech. Program at UG level, M.Tech. Program at PG level and Ph.D. program in various specializations. State of the Art laboratories have been established and the Department is committed to provide active hands on and experiential learning to the students of all the programs and to support the research. The Department also ensures the quality delivery in the classroom teaching through the highly talented and motivated faculty members. The faculty members of the Department are delivering the fundamental concepts along with the latest trends in the area to strengthen the learning process and to invoke the critical thinking and problem-solving skills among the students, so that the students can take the challenge to give the solution of the technical and social problem through technology.

The Department maintains active research groups to provide the research support the students of various programs and for carrying out the collaborative and interdisciplinary research in the different area such as; 5G Technology, RF and Microwave Engineering, VLSI Design, Sensors, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, 3D printing, Medical Electronics, Machine to Machine Communication, Satellite Communication, Sensor Networks etc.

The Department put all efforts to make the students to compete globally and to produce technical solutions to the social need with ethical and moral values, and to produce essential technologies for the mankind in the field of Electronics & Communication.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering running one undergraduate program B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering since 2013.The students engaged in this particular course are doing great in their well-equipped laboratories. The university is committed to send the students to reputed academic institutes and industries for their summer internship.

Postgraduate: M.Tech in Microelectronics

Research: The Department has strong research program leading to Ph.D. degree in all the areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering, both in full time and part time mode. Number of Ph.D. scholars are currently engaged in cutting edge research in the Department; the research area includes RF and Microwave Engineering, VLSI Design, Reconfigurable FPGA system, and Nanotechnology.

  3. India Skill Competition organized by NSDC at Aerocity Ground, New Delhi. Almost 35 students of ECE have visited the competition and became witness of that grand event. Almost 200 companies from different countries were displayed their innovative machines for the student benefits.
  4. Aggressive Electronics Manufacturing services Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon 52 students of ECE department have visited the organization and seen the manufacturing facility of the company. The company is leading manufacturer of electronics components in India.
  5. Huawei Telecommunication, Gurgaon The organization is world leader in the providing telecommunication services. 52 students of ECE department have visited the organization and seen the world class research facility of the company.
  6. Industrial visits of B.Tech (ECE, 2nd& 3rd Year) Timarpur-Okhla Waste Management, New Delhi and B.Tech (ECE, 3rd Year) to TV tower, New Delhi.
