The Faculty of Law, SRM University, Delhi -NCR, Sonipat organized an article writing competition on 1 st March 2023 at 12:30 PM in the Moot Court Hall to celebrate International Women’s week, 2023. The competition was open to participation to students from all the departments. The theme of the competition was DigitALL: Innovation Technology for Gender Equality. The event is based on three topics which are:

1. Women empowerment through social media.
2. Gender differentiation in a digital society.
3. Digital feminism and gender equality.

The event started with the lightening of the lamp and praising Maa Bharti with the showering of flowers by Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kulshrestha and all the female faculty members. The participants were informed about the rules of the competition and the marking structure by Srishty and Devanshi students of B.A.L.L.B. The students participated from various departments such as the Faculty of Political Science, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Law, etc. around 40 registrations registered students. Out of these only 10 students were shortlisted to present their papers in front of a jury. All the participants addressed the empowerment of women and gender equality in Indian society. Judges have also asked questions from the participants based on their papers. The winners of the Article writing competition are Riya Maggu, Sarthak and Rhthym Dhaiya. The event ended with a motivational address from Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, Dean Faculty of Law. He motivates the students to involve in more research-oriented activities. In last, the prizes are distributed to winners which are followed by a vote of thanks.
