AAHAR- The International Food & Hospitality Fair is a flagship B2B event organized by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the premier trade promotion body of the Government of India. The 38th edition of the event was organised from March 7-11, 2024 at the iconic venue of Pragati Maidan (New Delhi). AAHAR is one of Asia's best known brands in Food & Hospitality shows. The show has grown by leaps & bounds in recent years and is a well-known destination for global vendors and sourcing professionals. The Department of Food Technology, SRMUH organised the trip for students of all semesters to visit the event at AAHAR where the students witnessed the diverse tapestry of cuisines, culinary technologies, and hospitality services, drawing participants and visitors from around the world. Aahar works as a platform for fostering culinary creativity, promoting industry networking, and driving economic growth in the food and hospitality sectors.
